Ricardo, a San Sebastian native passionate about Andalusia
Ricardo, born in San Sebastián (Donostia) and who loves to discover new places and cultures whenever he can, after finishing his studies he traveled for a year through the US and Ireland and there, by chance in life, he met a woman from Malaga with a lot of duendeand since then, more than 25 years ago, he has not separated from her or his land, Andalusia.
From Malaga, having already formed his family with his wife and two children, he has not been able to help but fall in love with all the magic of Andalusia through its people, its climate, its history, its traditions, its culture and its gastronomy.

Por Soleá & Flamenco
The name “por Soleá” comes from flamenco, which is a Spanish style of music and dance that originated in Andalusia in the 18th century. Flamenco dancing can accompany different “palos” (traditional varieties of flamenco singing).
One of the main songs and the one that is considered the mother of flamenco styles is the soleá or soleares. Traditionally, their dance was performed by women due to the brilliance of the dancer, who can make typically feminine movements with her arms and body, accompanied by zapateados. Currently, the singing and dancing “por Soleá” is one of the most considered and performed by Spanish flamenco artists.
